Description

This wonderful dog-friendly log cabin with a hot tub on the deck and central air-conditioning is a great place for your next mountain vacation. The great room has lots of windows to make it bright and cheerful. The living area is snug and cozy with a leather sofa and loveseat where you can kick back and enjoy a fire in the gas log fireplace while watching your favorite shows on the 32" flat panel LCD TV with Satellite. There is also a DVD/VCR player. This cabin also has High Speed Internet if you wish to bring your laptop along on your vacation.

The open kitchen has everything you will need to cook and serve great meals. The appliances include a smooth top range, dishwasher, microwave, an Expresso coffee maker and toaster. The main level has two roomy bedrooms with authentic style wooden furniture. Each has a queen size bed and they share a large bath. The master bedroom is a large loft with a sitting area as well as a king size bed and a second 32" flat panel LCD TV with Satellite. The master bath is here in the loft as well as a large closet.

You will enjoy sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered porch which stretches across the front of the cabin while you soak up that fresh mountain air. Or you can enjoy the large back deck with a 4-person hot tub on it to relax and unwind after a day of skiing or hiking or just sight-seeing here in the High Country. This cabin is pet friendly and actually has a dog run. You may request permission to bring a small, well behaved dog with you. This cabin is so wonderful that the owners spend the whole summer there, but they will share it with you in the winter.

Mountain Meadows Log Cabin is about 3 miles from Banner Elk and about 5 miles to the ski slopes on Sugar Mountain. In the winter 4 wheel drive is definitely necessary .

We have recently changed the way we list our property rentals and fees to make it much easier for you! All of our properties now show the complete price including the $45 security deposit protection plan. All you need to do is choose your length of stay and take the complete price listed in the box above, THEN SUBTRACT ALL OF OUR DISCOUNTS THAT APPLY, add your taxes (not optional), travel insurance (optional) and pet fee (this is not optional if you are bringing your pet to a pet friendly home).

(This is an insurance policy that covers up to $1,500.00 of accidental damage to the property.)
*Price includes most supplies: firewood in winter(for some units), towels, dishwasher soap, kitchen garbage bags, starter set of paper towels, toilet paper and bath/hand soap, etc.
